Hosting
Interested in being hosted here at justdepends.com? Here's some info which will hopefully answer any questions you have. At the bottom is the application to become hosted here. Read on and see if it's what you're looking for.
What You Get
subdomain;
You'll get a subdomain: http://YOU.justdepends.com. You'll also, obviously be able to chose the site name.
diskspace;
You'll recieve 200 megabytes of space. I know it doesn't look like much but believe me when I say it is (currently I'm only using 124 MB and that's all my subdomains included). It's highly unlikely that you'll use all the space unless you're uploading tons of music and image files. If or when more space is needed you can contact me and we'll discuss it then.
bandwidth;
Everyone in the network uses the same bandwidth and luckily it is unlimited. That's pretty much it about that. If you'd like, I am happy to email you once every month to let you know just how much bandwidth you're using in relation to everyone else if you're interested.
ftp account;
Each site is given it's own ftp account. Your username will be your subdomain name meaning if your url is http://hellogoodbye.justdepends.com, your username will be hellogoodbye. Your password will be a secret code known only to you and I. I will never disclose the password with anyone. Should you decide to share your password with someone that is your own decision, I however do not reccomend it.
Incase you don't know what FTP is, I'll give a brief explanation. FTP stands for "file transfer protocol". It's how you access and edit your site if you own a subdomain or domain. There are many different programs you can use which allow you to do just that, edit your site. I currently use dreamweaver and in the past have used cuteftp, both of which I highly reccommend. However I do suggest you doing some research yourself and finding a program that will work for you.
mysql database;
Should you need a mysql database, let me know and I'll set one up for you. This is optional.
emails;
You are welcome to an email account to accompany your site (you@justdepends.com or you@yoursite.justdepends.com). How you choose to use the email is up to you but I will be happy to set it up for you. This is also optional.
support;
Should you have any problems with the site, feel free to contact me at alex@justdepends.com. You should get a reply within 48 hours and if you don't, you then have rights to bitch me out. :)

Rules & Regualtions
site type;
Your site must be one of the following: graphics, fiction archive, resources (textures, brushes, photoshop actions, etc.), coded layouts, uncoded layouts, fanlisting.
You can of course mix and match but you must have content, and of course, you can blog on your site (but please, if you apply plan to have more than just a blog). You may also offer tutorials, reviews, challenges, and personal work. However hate sites, hatelistings, porn sites, or anything that can be considered illegal or offensive will not be accepted.
linkback;
You must link back to justdepends.com on every page of your site with either a text link or a button. Simply put it in your footer and we'll be good to go.
opening;
You must have your site up and running within 3 weeks (21 days). This gives you almost a month to do it. If you need more time, that's okay. Just email me before the 21 days are up and you'll be fine.
updating;
I personally am horrible at updating my site. I admit it. I however will try to update my site at least once a month, meaning I expect you to do the same. And I don't just mean updating your blog, I'm also talking about the content. And trust me I will check. So keep your content new and shiney and again, you'll be fine.
content;
Must be viewer friendly! If you have some adult stuff (hello, I write my fair share of PWP) give a warning. Use correct grammer. Make sure your layout doesn't hurt the eyes. Just make it nice to look at! Organized is a bonus.
ftpl
You don't need to know how to use ftp. It's prefered but if you don't, that's okay. I'll be happy to help you out.
stealing;
Don't do it. Really, that's all there is to it. As long as you credit your sources, you'll be fine.
breaking rules;
Breaking the rules can lead to warnings, suspensions, and then expulsions, just like in school. Follow the rules and you'll be fine. If you have any questions about the rules, contact me and I'll be happy to clear it all up for you.

STARRED items are required. Please give 3 examples of your work (layout/graphic/resource/etc.) along with a small blurb on your experience in running a website, what you'll be putting up on your website, and why you would like to be hosted by justdepends.com.
